Art Courses and Tuition
Exploring any creative endeavour can be a challenge but ultimately an extremely rewarding experience. Over the years I have had the great pleasure of encouraging many students to follow their desire to unveil their potential as artists, rekindle former interest or refine their skills and expertise.
Most courses cover the basic skills involved in a technical exploration of the materials and practice of drawing and painting. There is something to suit all levels of study, from beginner to advanced. Genres range from life drawing and portraiture to still life, floral illustration, perspective principles (interior and exterior) and more. All include the development of personal compositional ideas.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding available courses of study in Scotland. If you are interested in organising a course for a group I would be very happy to discuss and deliver a programme to suit particular needs.

The Early Years
1994 - 2002
The works below have been selected to give a broad overview of ideas explored at the end of degree study and before the teaching of art courses began in earnest. There was a strong focus on experimentation and investigation regarding material, technique, scale and imagery - a priveledge made possible by full time further education.
